My Clay+Digital Photography Process Breakdown
The following is a simplified explanation of my art-making process, which combines handmade clay sculptures with digital photography. I’ve included timelapse videos to help illustrate each step.
Step 1: Make clay sculpture.

Step 2: Scan clay sculpture.

Step 3: Match image of sculpture to photograph.
Use Photoshop to roughly match the image of the clay sculpture to a photograph.
Step 4: Refine and combine.
Refine image using filters and other adjustments. Combine all elements together to create the final image.
